New Extron Cable Cubby® 200 Offers Compact Architectural Cable Management Solution

Anaheim, California (June 9, 2004) – Extron Electronics announces the new Cable Cubby® 200, a simple, economical, surface-mountable enclosure for connector and cable storage. Designed to mount discretely into virtually any tabletop, the Cable Cubby 200 fits nearly flush with the surface when closed and remains unobtrusive even when in use. Part of the Extron family of architectural products, the Cable Cubby 200 provides inconspicuous access to one AC power outlet and up to three data, audio, or video cables. Cables can be pulled through the openings in the adjustable panels — which can accommodate varying cable diameters and connector types — and then pushed back through to be stored out of sight until needed. "The Cable Cubby 200 is ideal for classrooms and large training facilities where multiple, distributed tabletop cable connections are needed," says Lee Dodson, vice president of marketing for Extron. An unswitched AC power outlet and two pass-through Architectural Adapter Plates (AAPs) are included. The Cable Cubby 200 is UL/CUL listed and CE compliant for worry-free integration, system inspections, and product safety.
