Extron Announces Promotion of Rainer Stiehl to Vice President of Marketing, EMEA

Anaheim, California (6 December 2007) - Extron Electronics is pleased to announce that Rainer Stiehl has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing, EMEA. In his new position, Rainer will be responsible for leading marketing and training activity across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

"Extron continues to increase its staff and capabilities in response to growth in the EMEA markets and the opportunities available to our valuable resellers," says Lee Dodson, Extron Vice President of Marketing. "We are very pleased to have Rainer lead the Extron Europe marketing team and efforts that support our resellers throughout EMEA, including the development of additional materials in local languages."

This past June Rainer was named Marketing Director after having served as Extron's Marketing Manager for Europe during the previous three years. Prior to joining Extron, Rainer worked at Sony for 15 years in various positions ranging from technical trainer for professional display products to product manager.
