Extron Annotator and VoiceLift System Win Awards for Best Video Product and Best Educational Product

Anaheim, California (February 18, 2009) - Extron Electronics is pleased to announce that rAVe Publications awarded the Extron Annotator and VoiceLift System as Best Video Product and Best Educational Market Product for 2009, respectively. Each year rAVe Publications selects its Up and Coming Products that it predicts will become product and market category leaders.

The Extron Annotator is a high performance, hardware-based annotation processor that offers live annotation capabilities plus high performance scaling and switching. With an intuitive graphical user interface, a presenter can easily draw, point, or add text to electronic presentation materials using a touch screen monitor and/or a keyboard and mouse. The Annotator supports all common analog and digital video formats including RGB, DVI, and HD-SDI, simplifying system design and significantly reducing overall system cost.

The Extron VoiceLift System is a voice amplification system specifically developed for K-12 classrooms. The VoiceLift System enables the creation of a "sound field" that allows a teacher's voice to be heard clearly throughout the classroom. Studies show that use of a sound field system results in increased student achievement and a reduction in teacher health issues related to voice fatigue. Each system contains all the components necessary to evenly distribute the teacher's voice throughout the classroom, including pendant microphone, IR receiver, switcher/amplifier, speakers and cables.
