1. Provide an HDMI twisted pair switcher that shall support up to two HDMI inputs, and shall provide long distance signal distribution of video, audio, and control over a shielded CATx cable

   2. Video input requirements
      1. Shall provide two (2) HDMI inputs for digital video signals
         1. Shall support HDMI 2.0b specifications include data rates up to 18 Gbps, HDR, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, HD lossless audio formats, and CEC pass-through
      2. Shall support digital video resolutions up to 3840x2160/60 @ 4:4:4 chroma sampling
   3. Audio input requirements
      1. Shall support embedded digital audio on HDMI input
      2. Shall provide a dedicated analog audio input connection
         1. One (1) 3.5 mm stereo mini jack for audio
   4. Video output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) HDMI type-A connector for local output
      2. Shall provide one (1) RJ-45 for connection to an Extron DTP®-enabled product
      3. Shall allow HDMI output to be assigned to either HDMI input by SIS™ command
      4. Shall support connection of DVI displays that do not recognize HDMI-specific formats
         1. Automatically enable or disable embedded TMDS audio and InfoFrames
         2. Automatically set the correct color space
      5. Shall be configurable for sending digital video, audio, and bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals to an HDBaseT-enabled display
   5. Switching requirements
      1. Shall provide automatic switching between input sources
         1. Automatically switch to the active input
         2. Configurable switching priority when multiple inputs are active
            1. High to low: highest numbered input has priority
            2. Low to high: lowest numbered input has priority
   6. Interconnection requirements
      1. Shall support interconnection between transmitter and receiver or DTP®-enabled products
         1. One (1) RJ-45 twisted pair connection
   7. Transmission requirements
      1. Shall provide signal transmission distance capability of 330 feet (100 meters) for all supported video resolutions using a shielded CATx cable
      2. Shall support High Dynamic Range – HDR video
      3. Shall support video, audio, and control over a single shielded CATx cable
      4. Shall actively buffer DDC channels
   8. EDID requirements
      1. Shall provide automatic EDID management between connected devices
         1. Provide a set of pre-stored EDID files
         2. Support capture of EDID from any connected display
         3. Support user uploading of custom-generated EDID files
         4. Support assignment of any pre-stored, captured, or custom uploaded EDID file to any input connection
   9. HDCP requirements
      1. Shall be HDCP 2.3 compliant
      2. Shall provide the option to disable HDCP processing at any HDMI input connection when passing unencrypted content
      3. Shall provide human-readable visual confirmation of HDCP compliance when encrypted content is routed to a non-compliant display
      4. Shall provide real-time verification of HDCP status for each digital video input
         1. Accessible through front panel LEDs
         2. Electronically accessible over RS-232 or USB connection
   10. Audio Requirements
       1. Shall provide analog stereo audio embedding
       2. Shall accept additional analog stereo audio signals for simultaneous transmission with HDMI embedded audio
       3. Shall support multiple embedded audio formats
       4. Shall support audio transmission over shielded CATx up to 330 feet (100 meters)
       5. Shall support embedded HD lossless audio formats
   11. Communications requirements
       1. Shall support bidirectional RS-232 communication pass-through up to 115200 baud
       2. Shall support bidirectional IR pass-through
       3. Shall support EDID and HDCP transmission

       1. Shall provide connection for AV device control

   14. Power requirements
       1. Shall accept remote power from a DTP2-enabled product
       2. Shall accept local power
       3. Shall provide DIP switch on rear panel for selection to provide power to a connected DTP2 receiver
   15. General requirements
       1. Shall include a USB configuration port on the front panel for data access and firmware updates
       2. Shall provide directly readable real-time verification of signal flow and operation
          1. RJ-45 signal and link LEDs on rear panel
          2. Auto-switching selection status LED on front panel
          3. Signal presence and HDCP status LEDs for active input/s on front panel
          4. Signal presence and HDCP status LEDs for active output/s on front panel
       3. Shall be compatible with CATx shielded twisted pair cable, and Extron XTP DTP 24 shielded twisted pair cable
       4. Shall support the use of HDMI to DVI-D cables or adapters for DVI-D signals
       5. Shall have a 1-inch (2.5 cm) high, half rack width metal enclosure
       6. Shall be equipped with an external universal AC power supply capable of supporting 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power
       7. Shall meet regulatory compliances

          3. Appropriate requirements of RoHS and WEEE
       8. Shall provide at least three (3) years parts and labor warranty
