PowerCage FOX Tx HDMI MM
- Shall provide a fiber optic transmitter on a double-slot board that shall support the long-haul transmission of HDMI video, stereo audio, and RS-232 control signals
- Double-slot board designed for the Extron PowerCage 1600 enclosure
- Long distance signal extension of digital video, audio, and control signals over multimode fiber optic cable
- Video input requirements
- Shall provide one (1) female HDMI Type A connector for digital video signals with or without embedded audio
- Shall support video resolutions up to 1920x1200, including 1080p at 60 Hz
- Audio input requirements
- Shall support two-channel embedded audio on HDMI input connector
- Shall provide one (1) 3.5 mm stereo audio mini jack for unbalanced audio
- Shall support audio embedding onto an HDMI signal
- Shall provide gain and attenuation adjustment capability
- HDCP requirements
- Shall be HDCP compliant
- Shall include Extron Key Minder® technology to authenticate and maintain continuous HDCP encryption between the input and output devices to ensure quick and reliable switching
- Shall provide the option to disable HDCP processing at the HDMI input connection when passing unencrypted content
- EDID communication requirements
- Shall include Extron EDID Minder® technology to automatically manage EDID communication between connected devices
- AV device control requirements
- Shall provide one (1) bidirectional RS-232 three-pole captive screw connector for RS-232 pass-through over fiber
- Interconnection requirement
- Shall provide two (2) LC-type connectors for interconnection between the transmitter and receiver
- Shall provide interconnection between transmitter and receiver over multimode fiber optic cabling
- Transmission requirements

- General requirements
- Shall provide visual signal on LED indicators for HDMI signal presence, HDCP authentication, audio input signal presence, and power
- Shall be installed in an Extron PowerCage 1600 enclosure
